  • Individual Therapy for Adults - Collaborative therapy tailored to one’s specific needs and goals. Generally once a week but can be more if needed.
  • Individual Therapy for Children and Adolescents - Collaborative therapy tailored to the child/adolescent’s specific needs. Individual therapy with a child/adolescent invariably will include parental involvement on a regular basis. Generally once a week but can be more if needed.
  • Family Therapy - Therapy that focuses on family strengths. Conflicts and issues affecting the family are identified and then family strengths and skills are used to develop strategies to resolve them.
  • Parent training/coaching - Parenting can be hard. Coaching is available for a variety of issues that parents may face with their children/teens. For example, dealing with behavior problems, arguments, setting limits, understanding teenage emotions and parenting a child/teen with depression, anxiety or other mental illness and how to best support them. Skills are taught to change behaviors, enhance communication and strengthen the relationship with your child.
  • Teen Group Therapy - a skills based group in which teens not only express and process feelings with peers experiencing similar issues but also learn coping skills to help regulate their emotions and make better choices. Mindfulness, problem solving and healthy communication are some skills that are taught and practiced in this group. Elements of CBT and DBT are incorporated in the curriculum. There is also an emphasis on enhancing self-esteem. Teens (13-17) experiencing depression, anxiety and stress would benefit from this group.
  • Tween Group Therapy - A skills based group in which tweens not only express and process feelings with peers experiencing similar issues but also learn coping skills to help regulate their emotions and make better choices. Elements of CBT and DBT are incorporated in the curriculum in a fun, age appropriate way. There is also an emphasis on enhancing self esteem and social skills. Children ages 10-12 who are experiencing sadness, depression, low self esteem peer issues, anxiety and stress would benefit from this group.
